This policy explains what personal data we collect through bestdentaltourism.al, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

Who the data controller is

The data controller is Progonati Dental Studio, a dental clinic at Rr. Muharrem Agalliu, Pedonalja e Vogël, Fier, Albania.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us yourself, plus what is generated technically when you use the site:

• Contact form details: your name, phone number, email address (optional) and your message.
• Files you choose to attach (an image or PDF, for example a dental X-ray). These can contain health data, which the law treats as a special category.
• Technical details: your IP address, the page the form was sent from, and the date and time — kept to prevent abuse and spam.
• Your language preference, stored in a cookie on your device.

Why we use it

Your data is used only to:

• Answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
• Give a preliminary assessment when you send us images or X-rays.
• Protect the contact form from automated submissions and abuse.
• Meet the legal obligations that come with providing healthcare.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you complete and submit the form. For health data you send us voluntarily, the basis is your explicit consent together with the provision of healthcare (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a) and (h) GDPR, and the corresponding provisions of Albanian data protection law).

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

How long we keep it

Form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than 24 months if you do not become a patient.

If you start treatment, the details move into your clinical record and are retained for the period Albanian healthcare legislation requires.

Attached files are deleted on request, or once they are no longer needed.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or trade your data. It is accessible only to the clinic staff handling your enquiry.

Our hosting provider and email provider act as technical processors and handle the data solely on our instructions.

The site also loads Google services (the embedded map and web fonts). When those load, Google may receive your IP address — see the Cookie Policy for details.

Your rights

Under Albanian data protection law and, for visitors in the EU, under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Request access to the data we hold about you.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Ask us to erase it.
• Ask us to restrict processing, or object to it.
• Receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Albanian Information and Data Protection Commissioner, or with your national supervisory authority if you live in the EU.

Security

The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to submitted enquiries is password-protected and limited to authorised staff.

No system is completely secure, so please do not send more sensitive information through the form than your question actually needs.

Children

The contact form is not intended to be completed by anyone under 18 without a parent or legal guardian's knowledge.

Changes

When we update this policy we change the date shown at the top of the page. We suggest reviewing it from time to time.
